Wattsun Warranty Terms & Conditions

1. Warranty Coverage
- • The Wattsun inverter unit is covered under warranty for a period of 3 (three) years from the date of invoice.
- • The Wattsun lithium battery is covered under warranty for a period of 5 (five) years from the date of invoice.
- • During the warranty period, Wattsun shall, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the product or its components in case of manufacturing defects.

2. Scope of Warranty
This warranty is limited to:
- • Manufacturing defects in inverter electronics and internal circuitry
- • Battery failures arising from internal cell or BMS defects
- • Functional failure under normal usage conditions as per product specifications

3. Mandatory Installation Requirement
- • The product must be installed under the supervision, guidance, or approval of an authorized Wattsun technician or representative.
- • Installation must comply with Wattsun’s installation guidelines and standard electrical safety norms.

4. Warranty Void Conditions
The warranty shall be considered null and void under the following circumstances:
4.1 Unauthorized Installation
- • Installation without authorized supervision or approval
4.2 Water / Environmental Exposure
- • Exposure to water, rain, moisture, or liquid spillage
- • Installation in outdoor, damp, poorly ventilated, or unsuitable environments
4.3 Tampering / Unauthorized Repair
- • Product opened, modified, or tampered with
- • Repair or service performed by unauthorized personnel or local technicians

5. General Exclusions
Warranty does not cover:
- • Physical damage, mishandling, or improper usage
- • Overloading, short circuits, or incorrect wiring
- • Damage due to voltage fluctuations, lightning, fire, or natural disasters
- • External accessories, plastic parts, connectors, or cosmetic damage
- • Normal wear and tear

6. Service & Claim Process
- • All warranty claims must be reported through authorized Wattsun support channels
- • Inspection and diagnosis by Wattsun or its authorized service partner is mandatory prior to approval
- • The decision to repair, replace, or reject a claim shall be based on technical evaluation and root cause analysis
- • Service timelines are subject to logistics and spare part availability

7. Repair / Replacement Policy
- • Wattsun reserves the right to repair or replace the product or its components at its sole discretion upon validation of a manufacturing defect
- • Replacement, where provided, may be new or refurbished of equivalent performance and reliability
- • Warranty shall continue from the original date of purchase and shall not reset after any repair or replacement
7.1 Repeat Service Handling
- • In the event of repeated service requests, the product shall be subject to detailed technical evaluation, including usage conditions, installation quality, and load parameters
- • Further action, including repair, replacement, or alternate resolution, shall be determined based on such evaluation

- • Wattsun’s liability is strictly limited to repair or replacement of the product
- • Wattsun shall not be liable for:
- • Indirect or consequential damages
- • Loss of business, inconvenience, or downtime

- • Original purchase invoice is mandatory for any warranty claim
- • Warranty is non-transferable unless explicitly approved by Wattsun in writing
